Fashion story in Sex Education
While Sex Education is set in a modern British school setting, the fashion in this long-running series is a delightful mix of '70s style, '80s colorful blazers, and of course, indispensable "1990 grunge girl" strong personality, love Punk, Rock and typical heavy makeup (if you're thinking of Maeve, you're right). In general, the style of Sex Education, as the costume designer of the series Rosa Dias describes, is: "timeless and non-specific". Thus, the world around Moordale High School with teenagers dressed very "arbitrarily" also becomes much closer.
Sex Education has never been a movie aimed at fashion-conscious viewers, and in high school, the fashion world still seems foreign to most. Instead of offering "on-trend" clothes, the series gives us a summary of the teen experience that is very interesting with personal clothes, whether as simple as Otis or as vibrant as Ruby.
