Celine Spring-Summer 2025 'The Bright Young' Men's Collection
'The Bright Young' was directed by Eddie Slimane and filmed in Holcomb, Norfolk, England in June.
'The Bright Young' was a nickname given by the media to young aristocrats and socialites in London in the 1920s.
For this collection, Celine recreated the traditional canvas tailoring of the 1920s in summer cashmere and wool woven in the style of the time. The trimming jackets and blazers they wore on cricket and boating were also rebranded as cashmere flannels for summer. The Celine crest patch embroidered with silver thread replicates the embroidery technique of early 20th-century military uniforms, while the white summer cashmere flannel also captures the 'cricket white' style of the uniform.
