Meet the Hide, the new super yacht
A super yacht all designed to mix in the ocean? It sounds like a paradox, but it is exactly what the young designer Anna Borla hopes to achieve with her latest sophisticated project called Hide.
Anna Borla, who is a finalist for the 2020 Young Design Award, designed a sizable yacht that aims to be in harmony with the environment. Sporting a slate hull, the vessel is equipped with glass panels that allow it to reflect the constantly changing landscape. "Hide wants to blend in with the environment around it," says Anna.
To add the idea of the panels to the project, the yacht's design was all presented with simple, clean lines and a discreet silhouette. Hide does not attract attention by elaborate lines and full of details, but do not be fooled by this sea chameleon. It is a phenomenon in many other ways!
"Hide has a huge space that allows a large comfort zone with a long pool and an incredible overview", explains Borla. The designer is not exaggerating! The large outdoor deck offers plenty of space for fun and parties. The proposal is radically different from most other concepts and even has a removable awning, so that the owner can create a covered area the way he wants.
Thanks to the enormous structure, it was possible to add solar panels to facilitate a hybrid propulsion system and lithium batteries. The interior of the yacht has sustainable decoration with furniture made from recycled fabrics, the six suites have large balconies, accommodating 12 people comfortably, in addition to the rooms, studio and library distributed over more than x square meters.
