Columnist of L'Officiel Baltic Yana Yass Jalu visited an unusual anniversary and told us what Gucci has to do with it.

<a href="https://www.instagram.com/yanayassjalu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Yana Yass Jalu</a>: I have been to a lot of anniversaries, but this time it was definitely extraordinary! During Milan Fashion Week, I was lucky enough to celebrate the birthday of Gucci's legendary Horsebit model. The brand decided to pay tribute to its iconic model and organize a large-scale exhibition in its honor with the participation of talented creators and a pre-show of the new Spring-Summer 2024 collection.
The space created had its character with notes of madness, conceptuality, and luxury. In each installation, there was an element of the history of the model, which began in 1953 when Aldo Gucci boldly decorated the shoes with a detail in the form of a horse bridle.
The atmosphere of Spazio Maiocchi caused some pleasant dissonance, as it combined elements of history and modern vision - guests walked from the crazy table with feet and brand positions to the installations made by Korean designer Gyuhan Lee and back to the bright and spacious patio by architect and multimedia artist Garry Nuriev.
In addition to the Horsebit tribute, an important event of the exhibition was the introduction of the new men's collection, which was created just before the coming of creative director Sabato De Sarno. He will present his brainchild in September, and these items are entirely designed by the Gucci team. The collection is full of monograms in different variations, leather accessories, comfortable silhouettes, and versatility of shades and textures.
Such events make the fashion industry even brighter and more meaningful, as you can not only enjoy the new collection but also immerse yourself in history, imbue yourself with brand values, and meet nice people.
