ZENITH and Revolution Present the Chronomaster Revival A3818 Cover Girl Carbon
ZENITH continues its collaboration with Revolution magazine, introducing the third special edition in their partnership—the Chronomaster Revival A3818 Cover Girl Carbon. This time, the iconic timepiece is reimagined with a lightweight and durable carbon composite case, blending the historical design of 1971 with cutting-edge materials.
The A3818 model, known among collectors as the Cover Girl, remains one of the most sought-after El Primero-powered watches. Building on the original, ZENITH and Revolution have taken the design further, achieving an even lighter construction. While the steel version weighed 110.6g and the titanium edition 78.3g, the carbon model sets a new record at just 60g.
The carbon composite dial features the signature shark-tooth seconds track, along with tachymeter and pulsometer scales. Luminescent elements ensure optimal legibility in low-light conditions. Inside, the watch is powered by the high-frequency El Primero 400 movement, running at 5 Hz for accuracy down to a tenth of a second.
Produced in limited numbers, the watch comes in three variations. The first, limited to 150 pieces, features minimalist hour markers. The second, with only 50 pieces, showcases Indo-Arabic numerals. The rarest version, limited to just 10 pieces, is fitted with the legendary Gay Frères ladder-style bracelet—now crafted in carbon composite for the first time.
“For a watch to remain relevant, it must combine aesthetic appeal, innovation, and collector value,” says Wei Koh, founder of Revolution. “These new editions reflect the shared passion of ZENITH and Revolution for watchmaking,” adds Romain Marietta, Head of Product Development at ZENITH.
The Chronomaster Revival A3818 Cover Girl Carbon is available on the Revolution website and at ZENITH boutiques worldwide.
