TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph | F1® is a speed captured in time
TAG Heuer celebrates its return as the Official Timekeeper of Formula 1® with the TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph | F1®. This model becomes the epitome of uncompromising precision, passion for speed and the pursuit of perfection.
When design defies the times
Since 1969, the TAG Heuer Monaco has remained a symbol of avant-garde style and technological revolution. The world's first square water-resistant automatic chronograph model, with its iconic blue dial and left-hand crown, it was a design that shattered stereotypes and went straight into history. Steve McQueen chose the Monaco for the movie Le Mans, and the watch has been an integral part of racing culture ever since.
Today, TAG Heuer revives the legend with the Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph | F1®, an ultra-precise split chronograph with caliber TH81-00. This movement allows you to time two time intervals simultaneously, making it the perfect tool for the world of racing. Inspired by the brand's heritage in sports timekeeping, it echoes TAG Heuer's iconic devices, from the Mikrosplit stopwatches of 1916 to those used by legends such as Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher.
Technical perfection, taken to the absolute
Beneath the case lies one of the lightest and most innovative calibers in the brand's history. The art of finishing is perfected: polished black screws, hand-finished chamfers and a TAG Heuer shield-shaped rotor with a racing edge effect. This is Swiss craftsmanship in its purest form.
The case itself is another engineering feat. Made of white ceramic, it contains no internal metal construction, requiring the highest precision machining. Every curve and facet is hand-polished, and the sapphire caseback allows an unobstructed view of the caliber's performance.
Formula-1® on your wrist
The watch references the world of motorsport not only in its technology but also in its appearance. The red transparent dial, reminiscent of a heated race car, asphalt sports counters, start markings and the signature Formula-1® font create the feeling of being in the pit lane. And British commentator David Croft's signature phrase “LIGHTS OUT & AWAY WE GO” on the meters makes this model truly unique. Completing the picture is a white textile-embossed calfskin leather strap, a titanium clasp with double folding mechanism and a limited edition of only 10 pieces.
The TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph | F1® keeps the spirit of Formula-1® captured in the movement, the epitome of speed and skill. The race is on.
