Demna at Gucci: a new chapter for the Italian House

Marking a decade of her creative journey and ushering in a new chapter, Magda Butrym presented a deeply personal Fall-Winter 2025 collection in Paris, named after her full name. It blends the designer's everyday style with the brand’s signature Slavic aesthetic.

In April 2025, the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) will present the largest exhibition dedicated to Cartier in 30 years. More than 350 unique pieces will tell the story of a brand that has come to symbolize royal luxury, cinematic glamour and timeless style. Highlights include jewelry worn by Queen Elizabeth II, Grace Kelly, Princess Margaret, Rihanna and Maria Felix, as well as rare archival designs that have never been on public display before.

The era of Donatella Versace is over. After almost thirty years at the helm of the House, she is stepping down as creative director of Versace, handing over the brand to Dario Vitale, a designer whose name has recently become synonymous with innovation and a fresh take on luxury.

So, Demna is heading Gucci. After months of waiting, Kering officially announced that the Georgian designer will become the new creative director of the Italian House, replacing Sabato De Sarno, who left the post after two years of work.

Since its introduction in 1947, bamboo has become an integral part of Gucci's heritage. Invented by Gucci in the post-war material shortage, this strong and lightweight material first adorned the iconic handle of the Bamboo bag, becoming a symbol of artisanal craftsmanship and timeless design. Now the legend takes on a new form: the bamboo motif is transformed into exquisite jewelry where organic aesthetics meets modern luxury.
