The protagonists of Art Basel Miami 2024 range from innovators to rising stars redefining the art world.

A hub for modern and contemporary art,&nbsp;Art Basel&nbsp;returned to Miami Beach&nbsp;from December 6 to 8, 2024. The event welcomed collectors, enthusiasts, and professionals from around the world, offering a selection of galleries and installations that represent the best of international creativity. The true essence of the fair lies in the artists who interpret and redefine the boundaries of art. This year, the program includes emerging and established figures, including artists who explore digital and painters who reinterpret tradition. Here are some of the protagonists to discover.

Danielle Mckinney paints scenes of everyday women, transforming them into intimate and poetic images. Her portraits show women in solitude, immersed in dreamy domestic environments, with poses that evoke delicacy and introspection.

In Miami&rsquo;s Design District, Nicole Nomsa Moyo presents&nbsp;Pearl Jam&nbsp;, an exhibition that celebrates South African culture through jewelry-inspired sculptures. The project combines tradition and modern design, drawing on the motifs and colors of the Ndebele tribe.

Indian couture designer Anamika Khanna explores the connection between fashion and art. At the Untitled Art Fair she discussed the global influence of Indian artistic traditions, offering a unique perspective on the creative evolution between East and West.

Awarded at the Rabanne Arts Factory, Lucy Ellis creates works that reflect the relationship between humanity and technology. Using recycled materials, she explores themes such as digital errors and the complex relationship between fascination and fear of technology.

Moroccan architect and artist, Amina Agueznay combines materials such as fabrics, paper and recycled plastic to explore the dialogue between modernity and tradition. Her works renew artisanal techniques through a contemporary language.

Roham Shamekh presents&nbsp;Pharrell's Echoes&nbsp;, a collection of sculptures inspired by Pharrell Williams. The works reflect the power of creativity as a force for cultural change, fusing design, photography and sculpture.

At MOCA North Miami, Andrea Chung explores the aftermath of colonialism in the Caribbean with&nbsp;Between Too Late and Too Early. Using mixed media and video, the artist explores idealized representations of islands, often labeled as paradises.
