The Image of Spring RIGA FASHION WEEK: Femininity in the Digital Era

CHANEL marks its comeback to the Grand Palais with the campaign for its Spring-Summer 2025 Ready-to-Wear collection, in a tribute to a space that is inseparable from its own history and its shows. Photographed by Inez & Vinoodh, the campaign celebrates the notion of movement and freedom, and is embodied by models Amar Akway, Libby Bennett, Ella Mccutcheon and Nigina Sharipova. The organizers of RIGA FASHION WEEK have unveiled the image for the spring season of RFW, which will take place from April 7 to 10. Continuing to explore the intersection of fashion and technology, the new visual concept embodies the essence of both present-day trends and a futuristic vision of the future. In an effort to inspire designers to incorporate unconventional recycled materials into their collections, special attention has been given to the textures of the outfit worn by a model generated by AI.

Exploring the strength of individuality, Identity translates the essence of authenticity through striking contrasts and unexpected silhouettes. Raw minimalism meets the sophistication of deconstructed tailoring, while organic textures interact with structured cuts. The futuristic aesthetic and the model’s enigmatic attitude reinforce the duality between vulnerability and power. In neutral tones and deep shadows, each image challenges conventional fashion standards, celebrating the beauty of uniqueness.

At Milan fashion week the Italian brand Ermanno Scervino presented its new collection, where femininity means not only beauty but self-expression and strength.
