Model Marília Kensy Falkenberg was born in Brazil, studied in the US and is now living in Mexico City. Marília has a fashion marketing degree, but is now invovled in shootings for glossy magazines and taking part in shows. She keeps her main dream a secret, but we sincerely wish that it will come true.

You moved to the US from Brazil when you were very young. What urged you to make that decision?

I had always dreamed of living abroad, and it was my mom who came up with the idea of me going to high school in the USA and I loved it. It was an amazing experience for me, to learn another language, to get to know a different culture and people, and mainly to become a very independent person.

Did your parents support you when you chose the profession of a model?

My parents have always been very supportive of all my decisions in life, they have always told me to do what made me happy. I think that&rsquo;s a very important thing for everyone, to have your family&#39;s support. Do what brings you joy and be confident about that!

You have worked in magazines and on television, what do you remember about this period of your life? Why did you go into modeling after all?

Since I started fashion university I have worked in styling shootings for fashion magazines and news TV programs, so I have always been inside the fashion world and have always loved it. I wanted to become a model since I was little , then one day one of my friends (who was also a model) took me to her agency and it was then that I started to take this seriously, as a profession. My first professional modeling experience was at Buenos Aires Fashion Week.

Which brand did you remember working with the most? Why?

The job that left the brightest memory was when I worked for Forever 21, I walked their fashion show in Punta del Este, Uruguay, it was during an amazing sunset at the beach, it was a great experience. It&rsquo;s one my favorite places to go during summer time, I managed to mix business with pleasure. And also shooting for other magazines.

Tell us about your beauty secrets, because modeling is not easy (flights, diets, stress)?

I try to workout everyday, going to the gym and spinning class and practicing yoga and muay thai. I&rsquo;m a vegan so I love eating healthy (that&rsquo;s the most important thing &mdash; eating and not starving yourself), I also do intermittent fasting almost everyday. I always remove my makeup at the end of the day and use face and body creams in the morning and at night. For me a good night of sleep is essential (I&rsquo;m a sleep lover and my friends know it. (Smiles.) I consider my lifestyle very healthy. Health is our treasure so we have to take care of it.

&nbsp;

What allows you to relieve tension after work?

A massage or a yoga class to relax, then a hot shower and drinking a cup of tea watching my favorite shows on TV with my chihuahua, Chloe, or gossiping with my friends. (Smiles.)

How do you spend your free time?

I love traveling, I try to go to the beach at least once a month. I&rsquo;m also a party lover, I love to dance and go out to have fun with my friends, we like to go out to eat as well. I also enjoy practicing physical exercise, reading and going to the park with the dogs.

Tell us about your creative or business plans?

Work is my top priority right now, I&rsquo;m very focused on that. I have my dream goal in mind, but it&rsquo;s a top secret.
