Baiba Prindule-Rence, a well-known Latvian set &amp; mood designer, in collaboration with artist and ceramicist Irita Tīlane, has launched a collection of 10 vases called "Runā vasara."

The launch event took place on 20 June at B. Prindule-Rence's concept store "SVINAM," where design professionals and interested parties could familiarize themselves with the overall collection and the unique design of each vase.
Each vase in this collection is a one of a kind piece and comes with a certificate confirming the authenticity of the artwork. The vases range in price from &euro;200 to &euro;400. At the event, 5 of the vases in the collection had already been reserved. A reservation means that the vase is not immediately sold to the owner, ensuring that the overall exhibition remains open for visitors until July.

B. Prindule-Rence reveals: "In Latvia, we are often afraid to share ideas, but around the world, I see that by combining our thoughts and ideas, we can create new and more ambitious things. I want to bring this practice to our design space and continue it&mdash;reaching out to Latvian artists whose work inspires me to create something new together, unique, and competitive in the world.
This is my first collaboration with artist Irita Tīlane, an alternative-minded ceramicist and creative personality known under the brand name &ldquo;BOTERRA&rdquo;. She inspires me with both her unique personality and the works and ideas she creates. Our collection of 10 original pieces, &ldquo;Runā vasara&rdquo; has been created with today's trends and design movements in mind, combining our vision,sense, and energy."

B. Prindule-Rence also reveals the role of her design concept store "SVINAM": "It is my personal project of passion, through which I have been trying for a year to introduce the concept seen in design cities like Berlin, Paris, Copenhagen, and London. In these cities, ordinary design goods are combined with unique design objects created specifically for the store or the city, providing a new experience in people's everyday lives.
I see the added value of this place in the overall Latvian design scene with its unique assortment from around the world and an open environment for events and great collaborations with Latvian designers and manufacturers."
