Maison Du Savoir, the name of the international architectural and design bureau based in Latvia, means "House of Knowledge" in French. Both words are by no means accidental. The head of Maison Du Savoir, Maximilian Andreev, who founded the company, was inspired by the philosophy and principles of the world of Haute Couture houses and high-fashion that he been tightly connected to. Creating new spaces in Maison Du Savoir is a process of co-creation with the client, a dialogue that enriches both parties with new knowledge and feelings.

Personality

The founder of Maison du Savoir, Maximilian Andreev, came to his life&rsquo;s work through high fashion. Firstly, exploring shape through sculpture whilst studying at University of the Arts London and lastly, shaping bodies using corsets and meticulously crafted patterns. Fascinated by the transformation of human body, Maximilian began working as a couturier for the London Haute Couture house Ralph &amp; Russo, the first British brand to be honored to take part in the Paris Fashion Week. The time spent at the house gave the understanding of luxury and the exquisite craftsmanship behind it, however, being limited to only fabric and embellishments used to explore the world of aesthetics inspired Maximilian to look into architecture and design.
Maximilian's interaction with the Haute Couture world not only introduced him to true luxury but also inspired him to build an architectural and design bureau on the principles of a Haute Couture house. There are three principles, but it is the commitment to each one that is responsible for Maison Du Savoir's success:
