Bright walls

Repainting a room is not a difficult task, but it will not be easy to do it once the house is located. Moving a room takes a lot of precious time, comes at an extra cost, and you need to have a place where you can store things where you can move while work is in progress. Therefore, do not rush to paint the walls in bright or capricious colors before settling in, because after a while you may regret such a decision. First, consider what other ways you could add the colors you want to your interior. For example, there is an option to choose colorful interior details that would be easier to change if you wish. Consider patterned home textiles, carpets, pillows, curtains, as well as colorful artwork (you might paint the picture yourself) or small furniture such as a closet, chair, armchair, coffee table. All this can become a stylish bright detail. When the color fades, you can redecorate small items or just replace them with others.

When preparing to paint the walls of a house, explore the color palette well: what shades give the room warmth or cool, what creates a calm mood or energizes, what helps to visually expand the space, and what, on the contrary - reduces the space. Also keep in mind that the paint looks the same in the color palette and applied to the wall in a completely different way. Therefore, before buying the right amount of paint, be sure to buy a few small cans of different shades to try which color will look best on the walls.

Too little "breathable" space

Often home decorators want to fill every corner so that each has a certain activity area, a certain piece of furniture, an interior detail or a plant. However, it is important not to rush and overflow the walls with paintings, cabinets, chests of drawers and tables - sculptures, candles or books, all spaces from ... to ... not furnished. There is a need to leave places in the room that rest the eyes, "breathe" and become a harmonious counterweight to the "material" areas. Look at it not only from a stylistic point of view, but also from a practical point of view - you have to move freely at home so that you do not feel as if you are in a shop, behind the back of chairs, flower pots or other objects. Start planning the room from the floor: evaluate where and what size areas you will create, where the carpet will be, what boundaries it will draw, how the room will move from one area to another, how best to arrange the furniture so that the room does not lose space or coziness.

Too many trends

Often, as soon as we start settling into a home, we try to accommodate too many different trends in our space. Sometimes the eyes get stuck behind one, sometimes behind the other, the insensitive houses are filled with different styles, which makes the space more difficult, it becomes difficult to find a unifying connection. Try not to buy items to capture moments of admiration, first consider whether the item will really fit in at home or whether you will be able to maintain a harmonious whole. Some kind of "waiting period" will also save you money - you may realize that you don't need to buy at all.
