Gucci Bamboo: a symbol of the era reinterpreted in jewelry art

Since its introduction in 1947, bamboo has become an integral part of Gucci's heritage. Invented by Gucci in the post-war material shortage, this strong and lightweight material first adorned the iconic handle of the Bamboo bag, becoming a symbol of artisanal craftsmanship and timeless design. Now the legend takes on a new form: the bamboo motif is transformed into exquisite jewelry where organic aesthetics meets modern luxury.

The Gucci Bamboo Jewelry collection for the Spring/Summer 2025 season captures the natural curves and textures of wood, translating them into bracelets, chokers and curved forearm jewelry. These shapes seem to follow the lines of the body, creating a sense of vibrant, fluid design.

Gold, palladium and hand-applied colored enamel transform each piece of jewelry into a unique object, where raw naturalness and refined brilliance merge into one.
