Estonian Fashion Takes New York: A Bold Statement in Sustainable Design

The fashion industry moves at a dizzying pace, and creative director shake-ups make headlines as often as new trends emerge. Recently, it was announced that Casey Cadwallader is stepping down as Mugler’s creative director, passing the torch to Portuguese designer Miguel Castro Freitas.

Ukrainian photographer and creative director Karina Galuhina reflects with the team on the future and what it could be like on other planets. Futuristic images helped to create by Portuguese designer Filipe Blanquet and full outfits created by stylist Maria Nobre. The alien atmosphere, the comprehension of the new - that's how model Sandra Fernandes conveyed the emotions of this shoot with makeup that feels alien from Raquel Soeiro.

Six international brands are participating in the program, each offering a multifaceted perspective on contemporary fashion. This season marks the beginning of a collaboration with the global project “Fashion Scout”, which introduces the world's most promising young designers.

A WALK IN THE SUMMER GARDEN

The latest Reda Paula Spring/Summer 2025 collection balances sensitivity and strength, drawing inspiration from the raw power of nature. The concept is reflected in Lithuanian poet Bernardas Brazdžionis’ words: “The wind scattered, the rain washed away, the sun raised”, embodying the passage of time and its impact on form, texture, and material.

A nostalgic Parisian aesthetic. Blending vintage designer pieces with new Anthony Peto hats and using feminine elements. Unique patterns and textures are combined in a minimalistic environment creating a beautiful balance of playful qualities and sophistication.
