Back in 2016, Harry Potter fans from around the world were given a gift. No, it wasn't an on-screen reunion film, but instead, an on-screen adaptation of J.K. Rowling's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them—a similar but different story from the Wizarding World—starring Eddie Redmayne as magical zoologist Newt Scamander.

This year, fans were given another gift, only this time a magical trailer for Fantastic Beasts' follow-up, The Crimes of Grindenwald. It picks up right where the other left off following the capture of Grindenwald, a power-hungry dark wizard (played by Johnny Depp). From start to finish, the trailer covers everything we need to know about the film. We see Scamander leaving London for Paris, Jude Law playing a dashing young Albus Dumbledore, and creatures we've never seen before. Harry Potter fans will also note that at the beginning of the clip, several wizards apparate(magically appear) on Hogwarts grounds—a harsh no according to magical protection laws. Perhaps we'll find out how this came to be in the film?

Returning to the film are Katherine Waterston (as Porpetina Goldstein), Dan Fogler (as Jacob Kowalski), and Ezra Miller (as Credence Barebone). New to the world of Harry Potter are Zoe Kravitz, Claudia Kim, and Callum Turner, who are sure to enchant audiences with their characterizations.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will hit theaters on November 18.
